Growing up in the mountains of Alaska, I developed a passion for adventure early on. The daughter of competitive runners, my propensity for competition merged with a love for the outdoors and quickly led me down a path of ski racing and running. A strong high school running career led me away from Alaska on a track scholarship and four years at Boston College. However, the allure of the mountains remained constant and after graduation, I made the move to Jackson Hole with an opportunity in commercial film production.
A reconnection with nature joined with a newly opened door to the world through production, helped me develop a broader sense of global citizenship and a growing responsibility for conservation. In my role at OneEyedBird, I quickly progressed from Intern to Associate Producer and I spend my time organizing, coordinating and managing projects across the globe – from Africa to Iceland to the Amazon and beyond. While work is inspiring, being an athlete and pushing boundaries are equally important – whether I am skiing, running, climbing or planning the next big adventure.
