How to Measure for Men

 Image
1 — Neck
Wrap a soft measuring tape around the neck where the collar would sit (about 2 fingers up from collar bone). Rest tape loosely and hold one finger underneath to ensure room for comfort.
2 — Sleeve
Place one end of the measuring tape at the base of the center of the back of the neck (at your spine). Run the measuring tape over your shoulder and down the arm, just past your wrist bone to where you would like your shirt cuff to sit. Always slightly bend the elbow when measuring to allow for extra ease so that your sleeve is not too short.
3 — Chest
Wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your chest. Rest tape loosely and hold one finger underneath to ensure room for comfort. Arms should rest at your side.
4 — Waist
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your natural waist, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.) Rest tape loosely and hold one finger underneath to ensure room for comfort.
5 — Hips
Stand with feet together and wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your hips. Rest tape loosely and hold one finger underneath to ensure room for comfort.
6 — Inseam
Stand straight and measure the inside leg from the crotch point to the ankle.
