Fantastic jacketM13Really pleased with this purchase. I have been looking for a stylish but casual jacket for a while and this really hit the mark. Nice details (buttons, liner, interior pockets) and a fantastic material that is sharp looking, comfortable and practical. A very easy jacket to dress up or down depending on you need at the moment. As I mentioned I have looked a a number of jackets and the quality of this jacket meets or exceeds others I have seen at a better price point.
Awesome ... like as much as RounderFlyfisher North of BostonThanks for adding another favorite for more summer time events. It came in day before 10 day odyssey on other side of the planet. Just right for smart dress casual with jeans and like the flaps in or out pocket features.
Great all around jacketJessVery well built jacket with excellent detailing. Love that all of the buttons are functional, not just decorative. Makes the jacket far more useful in real life out and about.
Good BlazerParmellI very much enjoy this light blazer. The details are well thought out and go well in casual and more dressy occasions. The only thing is that I like my sleeves a bit shorter and have yet to find a seamstress that will work on the bonded sleeve cuffs.
great summer travel jacketmary 1I purchased this jacket for my partner who has been doing a lot of traveling lately. He likes that it is easy to pack, light weight for summer use, and the stretch in the fabric make it comfortable. We have had a little problem finding slacks that go well with the color (khaki) as the light colored khaki pants which he owns seem to be a bit "off"...to close in color or something?? He has just purchased a pair of darker slacks (brown) and they go well with it. The orange "Eddy" shirt looks great with it.
Great for my 28 yo world travelerMont momI loved it in the catalog, but thought it was pretty pricey. Took the catalog to our local outdoor store and asked the similarly aged workers if they had anything similar. They did nto, but all admired it greatly and said they would love their moms to buy it for them. I sucked it up, ordered it for his birthday, having to guess at the size. It came quick, and hit the ball out of the park. He loves it and it fits perfectly (note: neither he nor any of they young guys I consulted had any idea at all of their jacket size besides S-M-L.). My son is 6'1, 180 ish and very fit. 42 was perfect. I am glad I invested...
Perfect travel blazerJimI was on extended travel and needed a lightweight, packable blazer for a couple of special events. I absolutely love the Crester Soft Shell Blazer. Light weight, very comfortable in 80+ degree temps, packable. Lightly water and wind resistant and was perfect in light showers one night getting home. I'm a 42 jacket size with arms that border on a 42 long, and the 42 was a PERFECT fit right off the shelf. It looks great with everything from a pair of jeans and a polo shirt to slacks and button-down shirt. My ONLY complaint is now I want one in Navy Blue!! ;-)
Pretty much perfectJohnnyAPerfect summer travel jacket. Looks great with jeans, packs well, handy pockets and great details. This is a really well thought out piece! The material is comfy, crisp looking and resists wrinkles. My only negative comment is I wish the interior liner went all the way around the back as it is only on the front panels.
Perfect for the outdoor guy that hates dressing upPWThis jacket is PERFECT for my style. Looks a little better when it's wrinkled, good weather protection, and super stretchy. My coat size is a 48 but I am able to wear the 46 since it has a good amount of give to it. I didn't discover the top button under the collar until after I bought it, SO COOL! It will be worn at every outdoor wedding I go to for the next 10 years!
Good travel jacketArbsThis jacket is great for travel because it takes up so little space in my carry-on. (I never check a bag anymore.) I just wish it came in a size 39 because 38 is a bit small and 40 is a bit large for me. The tan and light blue/gray colors are summery and great for warm climes, but I also wish it came in navy or a dark grey which are more suitable for winter.
Versatile, all-round jacketbargain hunterBought this on sale, so discount my "value" ranking accordingly, but no doubt about the quality and versatility. A little stretch in the fabric. Great for travel. Fit is pretty true. I'm 6'2", c. 210#, 36" waist, and the 44 is just right. Hey Stio, don't stop making this type of thing!
The "Open Road" lookWildBoarJust what I need for my vagabond travels, dressing up, and dressing down. Just that versatile. Like many other reviewers, I want this jacket in Navy Blue!!!
