Great sun protection! Review by Lisa

This jacket is great for sun protection! It is thin, almost like a shirt material. You could use it for layering as well. The angled wrist cuffs are well thought out. The rubber strip on the lower back keeps it put when you are wearing your pack as well. Other jackets I have without that strip tend to ride up. I tested this out on a Rim to Rim hike in the Grand Canyon. Temperatures change drastically over the 24ish miles because you drop 4500' in the first 7 miles and then ascend 4500' again in the final 7 miles, reaching 8000' on the North Rim. This is a jacket you can keep on, even in direct, powerful sun and heat to protect your skin. Lastly, I love the Cayenne color and got compliments on it! Although normally an XS for Stio, I ordered a small so I can layer underneath it and it can breath. I am 5'4" and 115 lbs.. hope this helps!

Wore it for the first time last weekend on Marthas Vineyard as it was cool and drizzly....this jacket was so light that I forgot that I had it on....love it! It has great pockets in the front/side and I love the detail of a zipper to either wear it looser or fitted...nice work Stio!

Ok, so I bought two of Stio's Tees in XL and they're WAY too tight. But I also bought this jacket in an XL and I'm swimming in it. What's up, Stio? I like this jacket a lot, and the color is beautiful, but I have to exchange it.

My daughter had suggested the jacket, I was surprised how fast it arrived. Perfect fit. The material is lovely. I like the sleeves how they taper at the top of the wrist and gather underneath. I've used it for so many different things even in my little urban lifestyle. I look forward to wearing it.

I bought this in the off-season (late fall, Montana), but have big plans for spending every waking minute of February and March in this piece. The details are fantastic - love the side zip and color contrast - and the fabric is what all those other brands WISH they had. It feels light but not flimsy, protective but not hampering, and like it could last forever, despite fishing, hiking, dog running, beach living... and when I get back to Montana in the spring, I don't plan to take it off then either, except maybe to wash it. I'm 5'8" with broad shoulders and long arms - the Large leaves enough room to layer a little underneath.

Anything in the CFS Collection is dreamy really. It stretches with you like a rubber band, breathes well, dries like magic, and protects your skin from the sun. I. Love. This. Jacket. The way it reacts to water is seriously nothing short of magic. I used to work at a plant nursery and wore this outside all day long in the beating sun and rarely over heated (only on the hottest days of the year) and knew that I wasn't frying! Naturally a great wind breaker as well. Perfect for boating, fishing, anything on water, but also biking and hiking! Super versatile. Style and colors make it a great fashion meets function piece.

Such a great lightweight anorak. Evening blue is a beautiful color and the fabric was light and soft. Bought it for a trip to Scotland where the weather is already mild and you can expect wind, rain and sun at any moment and sometimes all together. Loved the expansion zip for easy on/off and also to give some room when adding bulkier layers. At 5'5"/130lb the medium was a good fit. My only criticism is the free shipping, which requires cooperation between fedex and usps--for an east coast delivery it was 8+ business days, which seems like a lifetime compared to other shipping schedules. But I guess that's why it's free!

Wish I was able to purchase the orange in my size, but the purple is a very nice shade — a deep eggplant. The coat itself has a great deep zipper to make on/off easier. I just wish it was about an inch more toward the front…anyway, also really like the slight pucker/gather on the front zipper which nicely accommodates a woman's shape. It keeps the jacket fitted instead of overly baggy up top. Hood is very generous too. So far, has kept me dry and comfy on several drizzly days.

This jacket is great for a variety of conditions. It provides some water resistance in a drizzle, helps keep me cool on hot days and protects my skin from the sun! This jacket is not only my favorite Stio piece, but my favorite jacket ever! The fabric is phenomenal. I would recommend this and any piece from the CFS line.

The CFS jacket has it all...great stretch, roomy front zippered-pocket, form fitting cut, quick dry material, and fun color details. I like to use this jacket fishing, because it dries quickly and keeps me cool while standing in the river. I was debating between a small or medium, but decided to go with a medium, so I could have the option to layer.

I wore this jacket for 5 days straight after I got it. I enjoy camping, hiking, and even working in it. The fast drying material keeps you cool during the day and warm at night! My favorite feature is the pop of color on the zippers. I am 5'8" and got a size medium. It runs true to size and I would recommend it to everyone!

I love the stretch and the bright colors in this jacket. It is great for hiking on an overcast day or for when you get caught in one of those all too frequent surprise rain showers in the Tetons, as the fabric wicks away moisture and dries fast. The side zipper is convenient as it makes it easier to put on the jacket but then helps to keep a more feminine shape once on.

I stuffed this jacket down into my mini dry bag last week for a day of fishing on the Henry's Fork over in Idaho. It came in super handy during a sudden rain storm and kept my clothes dry. Even when the sun came back out the lightweight material kept me cool and protected from the sun. I take this with me every trip down the river! The zipper on the back side makes it easy to pull over your head and the style is really flattering!
