Everyday puffy Review by GreenT

Warm and comfortable, I have worn this puffy almost every day since I bought it. It is now my go-to winter coat. I was worried that the hot pink color would be a bit over the top, but I love it (especially the orange accents). I'm 5'9" and 130-ish with long arms, and the medium fits perfectly.

I am a self admitted puffy junkie and this jacket takes the cake! The material feels amazing to the touch and to have an 800-fill jacket that doesn't make you look like Randy from A Christmas Story is quite the trick! I'm 5'6", 140 lbs., athletic build. A medium fits me perfectly, while allowing for good movement without the jacket feeling bulky. I'm so in love with this jacket.

I am head over heels in LOVE with the new Cerise color. The bright magenta will keep spirits high in the long, dark months of winter. As always, the quality is top notch. The jacket is so soft and shiny, it makes you feel like you're wearing a sleeping bag. With 800 fill down, I am never cold, bring on the snow and the sub-zero temps!

I love this puffy . It was my go to jacket all winter and I spend everyday outside in the Wasatch Mountains, Utah. Whether I am skiing, snow shoeing, riding my horse , or going out on the town this was the jacket to have. Fits great and doesn't make you look like a Michelin man. You know what I mean. NIce trim sporty fit. I buying this jacket for all my kids for ski season this year.

One word: Warm. Review by JB

I typically run cold (aka, air conditioning makes me put on a fleece), but I cannot imaging ever running cold with this jacket, even in the worst parts of winter. It's incredibly warm. I love the fleece lined pockets (which are full sized and not shallow like some competitors'), and the fleece that is found inside the jacket 360 degrees around the collar adds a lot to the warmth. The hood adjustment is great. I'm not a huge fan of the look of the wide baffles compared to the more narrow baffles found on the men's model, but they're probably needed to make the jacket as warm as it is. Well done, Stio.

Very fashionable Review by Hudson Valley

I searched high and low for a winter jacket for walking/hiking and maybe skiing when it's below 25 degrees. I settled on this jacket and am mostly happy I did. It's very fashionable and has all the features it should (like zippered pockets and a soft lining inside the neck to make it cozier when zipped all the way up). The only thing I would say about it is that it's not as warm as I'd hoped. I usually don't get super cold but if it's below 25 degrees and you are not vigorously exercising, you need a few layers. That's my only comment. Otherwise, it's slim fitting and flattering. Sleeves a little longer than most.

Got my Hometown Down Hooded Jacket as a Christmas present. Absolutely love the jacket. Extremely light, but very warm. I have been wearing it everywhere including the office over the past week during the winter freeze we have been experiencing. Been running around in temperatures in the low 20s and teens, and have not felt cold. Wish I could justify having a second one.

This is such a warm jacket and have enjoyed mine for over 1 year. I have found that the Ilume Cire exterior fabric tears too easily, but that has not stopped me from reaching for this jacket every time I head out in cold weather. Thanks.

I spent a long time looking for something that was not neon or pastel. I picked out the dark blue and am very happy with it. I chose a large based on the reviews of others which seems perfect in the body but long in the sleeves. Even so, I like it; it's warm and lightweight.

This is a warm, wind resistant coat, and the hood is a handy feature. Only complaint is that I bought the light green color and it already had dirty spots on it. Wishing I had the dark blue instead. Would hide things like drips of dirty snow melt from the roofs I passed under.

This was a great purchase. I've had this down jacket for a few years and still love it. The color (blue) was unique and the cut was perfect for my petite frame (5'01", 115 lbs). The x-small fits snugly, I think I could also size up to a small if I wanted to put large layers under it. I would order this jacket again.

Just wanted to add that the Eiffel Tower color is much more silver/pewter colored than the picture looks. I expected it to be more of a shiny charcoal grey or something, but it's lighter than that. Still a nice color, but not what I expected.

I love this jacket. I am normally a small, but got a medium and I like the extra room. The interior pockets are a good size and location. The cuff's scallop shape fits with gloves nicely. The best part is the neck, I like to zip the coat up fully to protect my face and neck. No drafts and no irritation. Did I mention is super warm?

This jacket is such a fun color and I get tons of complements on how it fits (I wear a medium. I am 5'5" and 145 pounds). I wear this jacket to and from work everyday, out on the town, and for skiing. The puffy weight is exactly what I was looking for... not too bulky, but still cozy on the slopes. I highly recommend this jacket.

I had to wait until one came back in stock in indigo.
It was well worth it! fit is true to size. 5'8" 143 lbs Meduim fits perfectly.
Warm but very soft for a puffer. Wore it with light weight shirt when warmer and fleece shirt when really cold.
Only suggestion, it could have a heavier zipper for a winter sport jacket.

Ordering was fast and easy. I ordered the Poinciana color jacket which is a great color. Fit of the L was good for 5'4" 125#, but disappointed b/c the shell is too thin. It showed the dark down feathers through the fabric which made the jacket look like it was stained. I've seen this in some of Patagonia's lighter colored down sweaters, where its not attractive either but they are usually designed to be worn as a layer. This jacket is designed as an outer layer, so I expected the fabric would be more robust and not so transparent.

I loved the bright orange color of this jacket online and I am happy to say it is at least as bright in person. Some lighter-colored jackets show the darker feathers through a lot; this one does only very slightly. Best of all though is when you put it on---it feels like you just put on a warm cloud--it doesn't weigh anything and it is so toasty! Love it!

I just purchased this jacket at the flagship store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This jacket is incredibly soft, warm, and cozy. I could not be happier with the quality and warmth of the Hometown jacket. It is slightly longer than many down jackets, so it covers the waist nicely and keeps out drafts. Black Iris is a true navy. The hand warmer pockets are soft as is the neckline.

Just perfect!

Santa also brought this my tree this year and it is by the far loveliest feeling down jacket in my collection (which, admittedly, is extensive). The moment your hand squeezes this jacket you know this is not your ordinary down jacket. The nylon exterior is the softest and most supple I have ever felt. The down fill is superior to most out there and delivers incredible warmth in a sexy, flattering cut.

Sleeve is nice and long and keeps your wrists and top of hand nicely covered. The cut is super flattering and does not leave you with some "Michelin Man" stack of tire look. Hood is tall enough to fit over helmet when sitting on chairlift in blowing snow (feature tested this past week in Vermont of all places!) interior chest pocket fits iPhone perfectly.

I pick this jacket off the collection rack first.

Wear all the timeThis jacket is so comfy, soft, cozy, and warm - now my go to jacket for most things, including wearing under my Enviro Jacket while both on mountain skiing and backcountry skiing. Love the fashionable fit and detail but really love that it is 800 fill and very warm without looking like your at basecamp. Very hip and super comfortable.

soft as an angels cheekThis is a warm, well designed, down coat. It is so soft and water repellent at the same time. I love it so much.

Toasty JacketI just purchased this jacket at the flagship store.

DecentDid a pretty good job keeping me warm last weekend skiing in Vermont. However, I'm very disappointed that the other fabric isn't stronger. The jacket sprung a leak (hole) in my first weekend skiing this season. I hope it survives the season at least.

lighter than a featherI loved the bright orange color of this jacket online and I am happy to say it is at least as bright in person. Some lighter-colored jackets show the darker feathers through a lot; this one does only very slightly. Best of all though is when you put it on---it feels like you just put on a warm cloud--it doesn't weigh anything and it is so toasty! Love it!

1st Stio PurchasePatagonia has always been my go to for my outerwear, no more!! Cannot say enough how FABULOUS this jacket is. From the warmth, fit, color and style. Amazingly enough, this jacket keeps me cozy warm on winters coldest days and also works great for those unseasonably warmer winter days. Will be buying the longer version of this next season :-))

Love it!I got the orange and love everything about it. It has been cold here and I put on a super lightweight jacket underneath and it's perfect. It fits and looks great.

The BESTPlease, please, please don't change a single thing about this jacket!!! It's literally the best down layer I've EVER purchased and I'm already looking forward to buying another in the future. I have one of the originals, so it's a few years old, and it's still as puffy and warm as the day I brought it home!

Defective, awaiting refundGreat design. A bit short for a 6' frame. The quality of construction was in general very high except for a glaring absence of down at one inner elbow section. Very odd indeed!

Sending it backOrdering was fast and easy.

Worth the WaitI had to wait until one came back in stock in indigo.

Love this jacketI love this jacket. It's very warm but light and comfortable. It's not too bulky for a down jacket. I highly recommend it. Stio has great products!

I live in this puffy!

DreamyI love this jacket.

Nice jacketJust wanted to add that the Eiffel Tower color is much more silver/pewter colored than the picture looks. I expected it to be more of a shiny charcoal grey or something, but it's lighter than that. Still a nice color, but not what I expected.

My forever favoriteThe Women's Hometown Down Jacket is my staple, season after season. Then fabric is so soft and supple and has a beautiful sheen that separates it from any other down jackets out there. I get a new color (or two:) every year!

Super warm and lightLoved this jacket on the coldest days. Perfect for around town and on the slopes. Very light, soft and comfy. I never had to come in because of the cold all season.

Loved It!This was a great purchase. I've had this down jacket for a few years and still love it. The color (blue) was unique and the cut was perfect for my petite frame (5'01", 115 lbs). The x-small fits snugly, I think I could also size up to a small if I wanted to put large layers under it. I would order this jacket again.

Silky Smooth WarmthThis jacket is so soft and silky smoth I cannot stop touching it. I wear it all the time - taking the dog out in the early morning during the fall and layering it in the winter - it's so warm and cozy, I just love it. I'm a 5' 6'' typical small and this jacket runs true to size for me.
5
Amazing Jacket! This is extremely warm and looks beautiful. I ordered one, the inside pocket hem was broken, but Stio immediately accepted it and sent a new one immediately after (fedex expedited shipment). Great customer service and fantastic jacket. Ready for Wyoming winter!

Great coat, warm, fits well. Gets dirty easily. This is a warm, wind resistant coat, and the hood is a handy feature. Only complaint is that I bought the light green color and it already had dirty spots on it. Wishing I had the dark blue instead. Would hide things like drips of dirty snow melt from the roofs I passed under.

beautiful coatThis is a nice looking coat and the quality is amazing (we have many Stio coats and really love them). I ordered a Medium which usually works for me, but because I want to be able to wear layers, I am going to tryout the large.

Color is PerfectI spent a long time looking for something that was not neon or pastel. I picked out the dark blue and am very happy with it. I chose a large based on the reviews of others which seems perfect in the body but long in the sleeves. Even so, I like it; it's warm and lightweight.

Overall excellentLove the colors and the fixed super warm hood. The overall loft is warm but not bulky and the neck fabric eliminates that cold spot of most coats. Length is perfect, not too short. Love it!

Warm and lightThis is such a warm jacket and have enjoyed mine for over 1 year. I have found that the Ilume Cire exterior fabric tears too easily, but that has not stopped me from reaching for this jacket every time I head out in cold weather. Thanks.

Light Jacket But Perfect for Extreme TemperaturesGot my Hometown Down Hooded Jacket as a Christmas present. Absolutely love the jacket. Extremely light, but very warm. I have been wearing it everywhere including the office over the past week during the winter freeze we have been experiencing. Been running around in temperatures in the low 20s and teens, and have not felt cold. Wish I could justify having a second one.

Very fashionableI searched high and low for a winter jacket for walking/hiking and maybe skiing when it's below 25 degrees.

Love itI have fallen in love with this jacket. It is so soft and warm. I got the medium and fits perfect for me (5'2", 120 lbs).

One word: Warm.I typically run cold (aka, air conditioning makes me put on a fleece), but I cannot imaging ever running cold with this jacket, even in the worst parts of winter.

Love this jacketI love this puffy .

Cerise is my favorite!I am head over heels in LOVE with the new Cerise color. The bright magenta will keep spirits high in the long, dark months of winter. As always, the quality is top notch. The jacket is so soft and shiny, it makes you feel like you're wearing a sleeping bag. With 800 fill down, I am never cold, bring on the snow and the sub-zero temps!

Best Puffy EverI am a self admitted puffy junkie and this jacket takes the cake!

Everyday puffyWarm and comfortable, I have worn this puffy almost every day since I bought it. It is now my go-to winter coat. I was worried that the hot pink color would be a bit over the top, but I love it (especially the orange accents). I'm 5'9" and 130-ish with long arms, and the medium fits perfectly.
