Why did I wait so long? Review by kueenbee

I dithered over getting this jacket. Really? Another jacket? It's got a great temperature range for it's light weight. Stops wind, sheds water. The fabric has some stretch so if I need to put another layer on underneath, no problem, the fit is still good. The only wish I have is that the sleeves would be a little longer to make using the thumb holes more comfortable. I'm 5'6", 120 and the small is a good fit.

The Second light Jacket is one of my favorite activewear pieces I own. It is the perfect layer for that breezy morning or light rain. I will always grab my Second Light jacket for a hike or run, just in case the weather turns. Since it's so light, bringing it along is a no brainer. The cut is also great- I went a size up to fit heavier layers underneath.

I brought this jacket on every bike ride this spring. It's so light I'd forget I was even carrying it in my jersey pocket until the wind picked up or it started drizzling and I wished I had brought a layer. Voila! The pink is so fun, and hi-vis which is always a plus when riding on the road.

Love, love this jacket. Have worn this piece for pretty much every outdoor physical activity adventure whether its a long run on a cool Jackson evening to a hike up Snow King during the mid afternoon. The Second Light jacket does exactly what it is described and meant to do-, repels rain, extremely breathable while keeping the wind blocked on those cooler nights and keeps you warm. Also so light you don't feel like you are wearing anything. Amazing quality and super cute fit.

After purchasing the hooded version of this, I felt that I needed the non-hooded for road biking. I was right. This is the best road biking jacket out there. It's super light weight, extremely packable and I love the bright color (I have the magenta). I have worn this in just about every weather condition and it's held up great. I am 5'4" 120lbs and the Small fits great.

I have 2 of these jackets now and I'm thinking about a 3rd. I wear them running with a jog bra underneath to have sun aExpernd wind protection without bulk. Most days in Colorado have 4 seasons and this is a stylish, comfortable, great colors, easy to stuff in purse layering option.

The Second Light Jacket is perfect layer for whatever your activity, whether it be running, hiking, biking. Because it fits into its pocket, I like to carry it with me on a hike. It's a very light layer, but sometimes you don't need much. This light layer goes a long way! The gripper elastic at the bottom back also makes this a great layer for biking!

The Second Light Jacket has quickly become my go-to layer for running and being active on chilly, rainy, spring days. It offers just the right amount of wind and rain protection while still allowing great breathability. I love the light weight and built-in stuff sack -- can't wait to travel with it!

I love all the quality details. It is very thin and lightweight, but is wind and rain resistant. I will keep this in my bag at all times. Love how the collar stands up. Great to layer and then tuck away. Awesome for traveling and adventures when you might need the extra layer but not the bulk.

This jacket weighs almost nothing, but provides great extra warmth and wind resistance. Haven't had a chance to test it in rain yet, but I think it would be good in a drizzle, not a downpour. I got the blue so I would be more visible when biking and it is a beautiful shade, bright enough it provide visibility without having to wear hunter orange. It has quickly become my go-to layer this fall for hiking and biking. I am 5'6", weigh 124 with an athletic build and the M is a good fit.

I got this jacket for the convenience of its packability! I roll it up into its pocket and pack it in my purse everywhere I go. One down side of this jacket is that it is really wrinkly after removing it from the pocket, but fortunately the wrinkles fall out fast.

My new favorite active layer Review by Jessie - Stio employee

This is my new favorite summer layer for running, hiking, etc... It is incredibly light and airy, but still enough protection for light wind or misty rain. Perfect for cool evening trail runs. The cute collar and seam placement make it more fun/stylish than a traditional athletic jacket. Also loving the grip tape on the back that keeps the jacket in place. I am 5' 2", 105 lbs and I wear a size XS. If I wanted to layer anything thicker than a Divide henley under it, then I would probably get a size small, but I usually just have a tee or tank on.

I wore my Second Light Jacket for the first time last weekend on a hike. Early in the day I put it in my backpack--it was lightweight and rolled up perfectly. The temperature dropped in the afternoon, and this jacket was the exact layer I needed--wind resistant, breathable, but not too warm. I love the fit and the color (I got Tap Shoe!)--I'm a huge fan.

This is my favorite piece in the Stio Spring/Summer line. It is the perfect jacket for chillier spring days or cool early mountain town mornings whether it be on the river, at the farmers market or walking your dog along the creek. I got the Grisaille color which is a really nice neutral go with everything bluish-grey. Plus it packs up perfectly for easy travel. As with everything I am in Stio, I ordered a Medium. I am 5'7," 125lbs.

I have the First Light Jacket from the Spring 2013 collection but had to add this to my Summer wardrobe. This jacket packs up perfectly for a bike ride or hike. The little bit of length in the back with the grip tape at the bottom makes it a perfect jacket for a ride.

I wear a size SM, 5'7", 120.
