I was born in Seattle but raised in Utah’s Wasatch range, which has shaped who I am today. From a young age I began ski racing, which I pursued through various elite academies and eventually ended up skiing D1 and playing soccer for St. Michael's College in Vermont. However, it soon became apparent that the competitive aspect of skiing had become less important to me, and I returned to the University of Utah where I could spend more time in the mountains and to pursue the dream of chasing big lines and skiing powder. I am a senior studying psychology and marketing.

What is your favorite part about freeskiing?

My favorite part about freeskiing is the community that both challenges and pushes my limits, fostering an environment to express yourself through skiing.

What are some of your go-to adventure spots in Utah?

My favorite go-to adventure spots in Utah depends on the season! I spend most of my time in Little or Big Cottonwood Canyon year round. Although, I love climbing in the Uintas or Maple Canyon during the summer. I also spend a lot of time on my bike in Park City!

At Stio we believe balance is the key, how do you practice balance in your day to day life?

Through balancing school, an internship, a job, and skiing I have learned that balance is not innate. It is something that has to be learned and practiced. For me, I find balance in creating routines and creating time for myself in the outdoors.
