 Meet Our Newest Summer Ambassadors!

Our ambassadors are bikers, climbers, writers, artists, skiers, snowboarders, adventurers, moms, dads, and everything in between. They’ve made the outdoors an integral part of their lives – one that provides balance, empowers them in their careers and informs their convictions. We’re so proud to have them representing our brand and our mission!

We’re excited to introduce four of our newest ambassadors for the summer. Ranging from recent college grad to pro-skier turned dad, these guys are stoked to embody what it means to Let The Outside In!

Rob Aseltine: Entrepreneur & Professional Skier

  • Born, Raised, and residing in Salt Lake City, UT
  • Quick Fact: Rob lived in his pickup camper for two years chasing powder in the winter and surf in the summer before founding his marketing agency Blueberry Island in 2015.

  • What’s your favorite part about summer?
    • I love summer camping in the desert and everything that comes with it: slow mornings, cowboy coffee, dirt in my toes, biking, swimming, hiking, sitting by the campfire and a super long day to look forward to. I’ve been attached to my camera by the hip on trips lately so I can’t wait to get out and keep practicing.
  • What upcoming adventures do you have in store?
    • Mountain biking is my summer sport these days. I ride almost daily in Park City during the summer but I have trips to St. George, Tahoe, and Jackson planned in June and July.
  • What’s your go-to piece of Stio gear you’ll be bringing along with you?

Samantha Larson: Climber, Mountaineer, Freelance Writer

  • Hometown: Long Beach, CA // Currently: Seattle, WA
  • Quick Fact: Sam was once the youngest person to have climbed all 7 Summits.

  • What’s your favorite part about summer?
    • Long daylight hours, which mean all the more time for adventuring.
  • What upcoming adventures do you have in store?
    • I am planning to ski Mount Shasta next month, and looking forward to spending time climbing in The Enchantments in July.
  • What’s your go-to piece of Stio gear you’ll be bringing along with you?
    • The Second Light Windshell! It’s become an essential piece for everything from trail running, bike commuting, and alpine excursions.

Dash Longe: Pro Skier, Dad, & Slope side realtor specialist

  • Hometown: North Lake Tahoe // Currently: Park City, UT
  • Quick Fact: You may recognize Dash from the numerous ski movies he’s been in!

  • What’s your favorite part about summer?
    • Colors, shorts, thunderstorms, water, and grill marks.
  • What upcoming adventures do you have in store?
    • The most exciting adventures are the ones I haven’t planned for.
  • What’s your go-to piece of Stio gear you’ll be bringing along with you?
    • The Alpha Alpine Pullover. I don’t even have one yet, I am just waiting until it shows up at my doorstep so I can rock the hell out of it as the sun sinks beyond the ridge line and the breeze picks up.

Caroline Winslow: Recent College Grad and All-around Adventurer

  • Hometown: Telluride, CO // Currently: Wherever her van takes her!
  • Quick Fact: While some opted for apartments and houses, Caroline lived in her sustainable van her senior year of college.

  • What’s your favorite part about summer?
    • The best part about summer is the longer days which allows for maximizing time outside. For me, being in the water is the epitome of summer – from surfing, to stand up paddling, and river trips. I also get especially excited for late night grilling and sitting around a fire with friends.
  • What upcoming adventures do you have in store?
    • This upcoming summer is going to be amazing as I have just graduated college in Maine, so I will be maximizing time in the ocean before moving back to Colorado in August. Some of the highlights include a self-supported SUP trip along the Maine coastline and into Nova Scotia. Additionally, I am excited to be mountain biking and climbing more once I am back in the Colorado mountains.
