Why We Built It

Just a bit lighter than our Basis™ Power Dry® Zip Neck at 200g/m2, this midweight top fits close to the body without being tight and is the perfect layering tool for high elevation hiking and backpacking or early morning runs. At 18.5 micron, the merino fibers of this top are super fine, making it a year round, next-to-skin performance layer that wicks moisture, regulates body temp and stays odor-free. And with the addition of 5% spandex, you’ll appreciate the benefits of stretch and long-lasting durability.

New Favorite Shirt
Review by CVS

I've bought many similar style of shirts and this is my new go-to mid weight base layer. Love the blue, I'll definitely buy more of these if and when they come out with more colors.

Love it!
Review by MPM

I love this light weight, long sleeve shirt. Terrific for cool runs as its enough to keep warm, while breathing nicely so that you don't overheat. Stylish design. I'm 5'9" and 158 # - the medium fits perfectly.

Ideal Weight, Sleeves a Bit Long
Review by Blair

For me, it is the perfect first layer. Fit is perfect, yet the sleeves (M for me) are just a tad too long.

Very warm and incredibly light
Review by Matt S.

At fist I was a little skeptical of this product. It seemed a wee bit expensive, perhaps too lightweight, and itchy upon first wear. Boy was I wrong. This is one of the warmest baselayers I own and is absolutely fantastic. It fits well and the 'itchy factor' was easily solved by sending it once through the washer/dryer which made it incredibly soft.

Great Soft Base Layer
Review by SKILT

The Basis Stretch Marino Crew is a great base layer for the cold days between powder runs. I tend to wear my to do almost everything. The fit chart is accurate. I am 6' 200 lbs and kinda shaped like a box so I went with the xl I like a more loose fit and that is what I got. I may try a large when I order the next one to see if the sleeves would fit a little more snug. I suggest this product to all my friends and co-workers telling them that it is built very well. The marino wool is very soft and the mix between marino and spandex makes for a nice durable fit. Very warm yet breathable and it seems to hold no odor compared to other brands. Buy one in each color so you can save on shipping because you will want to have two when you start wearing this product. You will not be disappointed

fits tight, sleeves too long
Review by bbombero

The material was soft and stitching were decent. However, for the money, I expected a greater weight and thread count. Also, if you are built like a triathlete you will dig the fit of this. If you are a middle-aged guy with some extra padding, this will motivate you to wear a sweatshirt over it. Lastly, the sleeves were really long. If your finger tips graze the carpet as you walk, these sleeves will come to the wrist nicely. Sent back for refund.

Great for Fall hikes
Review by Mike-Staff

With the sun setting earlier this piece is great for a post work run or hike. It's helps to cut down the cold air when I start working out, and breathes well when I heat up. Depending on the weather, I'll either where it on top of a divide tee, or just next-to-skin. I'm 6 Ft. 190 and the Large fits great.
