GREAT versatile shorts
Review by Johnny B

Fit is spot on, colors are great.

Great Shorts
Review by Nate D Great

One thing I've witnesses is that everything Stio is a notch above in terms of quality of materials and design. These shorts are no different. I put them through the wringer. For example: Rocked these as an overshort while riding the Gunnison Growler, then wore them that afternoon fishing the rivers, woke up and wore them the next day fishing. They got wet, rubbed on rocks, sat in dirt, wiped fish slime all over, but still looked clean and great sitting down to dinner at the end of an epic day.

My other overshorts are Chrome Folsom shorts. I like these much better for stretch, a better fit, and more versatility. The fit is true to size. I'm a 34 and comfortable in a 34.

great all-rounders
Review by Sliderock Ranch

Garden Party to full on hiking. these move with you, are durable and comfortable. don't let the button down conservative appearance fool you, these are bomber.

Perfect Golf Shorts.

Perfect Golf Shorts.

Great Shorts
Review by Booyah

These shorts are super comfortable and breathable. Get both colors bFecause you won't want to wear other shorts after wearing these gems. Keep up the great work Stio!

Super Great Shorts!!!!
Review by Obie

I Love these shorts!!! I have a pair of the soft shell pants and these are much better in terms of weight, cut and fit. (the pants were big) I am a 38 and the shorts were right on for size. I love they are light weight and the mesh pockets!! They look like dressy shorts, but they are total function. Black Iris is actually dark navy, not black, But they still are very sharp looking!!

Solid piece yet you hardly notice you're wearing anything
Review by Hottub Poacher

Perfect under the ski pants shorts for staying comfortable all day no matter what environment from dog hair covered back seat on the ride up to mountain, lapping a steep boot pack, or the 4seasons patio. Looks like they'll hold up nicely on summer raft trips too. Love the user friendly waist button closure and micro zipper rear pockets.

sizes run small
Review by Small Male

I bought the shorts on sale and think they are well worth the price I paid. Unfortunately, I have a 31" waist. Most times can wear sports clothing advertised to have a 30" waist. Since the Crester shorts have elastic in the waist and come in either 30" or 32" waist sizes, I ordered the 30" version. It is too tight in both the waist and seat. I'm going up to the 32" version.

Durable & move well for mountain biking
Review by Burch

I worn these about 6 times so far while riding. The quality and durability are great. They "move" well as you peddle and got on/off the saddle. Anyone who rides off-road will appreciate that fact. Pricey, but worth it if they hold up to many rides.

New favorite pair of shorts
Review by Jake

Love the shorts - I've been a big Lululemon short lover because of the fit and versatility but have not been a fan of their shorts quality as of late. Now that I've found these shorts I'm not looking back. They are almost the perfect short. You can barely feel them on, they fit perfectly and they're nice enough for the office.

great short
Review by kyle

great product. they run on the small side. to bad they are not offered in odd sizes. normally wear a 34 but i could use a 35

Great shorts, very comfortable.
Review by Matt

I own 2 pairs of these shorts and they are the best pairs I have ever owned! They're a little on the pricey side but they are very high quality. Haven't had a chance yet to try them out hiking or biking, but they were great for golfing and walking around town on very hot days.

Great All Around Short
Review by East Coast Weekender

They've become my go to shorts. You can hang around the house, go for a swim and then walk around town with out having to change. Would prefer them to be slightly longer but they have plenty of length. A bit pricey for a short like this

Great short, if you like the elastic waistband
Review by JHerk

These are very comfortable, bomb-proof shorts that don't constrict movement. I really wanted to like these, but there is a very visible and pronounced elastic waistband in the back that is hard to see in the picture. They function great, I just personally didn't like the look.

All around'er
Review by Jeff

Picked these up at the beginning of the spring season and they are a true multi-use short. Fabric repels moisture, durable, stretchy. Zippered thigh pocket would be nice, but overall great functionality.

Love as a bike overshort.

Very nice shorts
Review by Allez

The feel and stretch of the fabric is great. Size was on the market and pockets well designed.

great performance, durability
Review by NW (staff)

This has fast become my weekend short for anything active...work around the house, mountain biking overshort, gym, on the river, etc. Fabric is durable and protective without being heavy - perfect for the workbench, the yard and long mountain bike rides. I'm a 32 / medium in Stio (and just about every other brand's) pants and shorts -- these seem nicely true to size.
