The only pants I will ever wear.
Review by Matthew

I spent way too much money this year trying to find a good pant. The environ pants are the only ones I will ever wear from now on. Incredible quality all the pockets are where they need to be. The weight is just right coupled with the wind stopper and waterproof ability.
The first day outin the pants was the greatest temperature change from cold to warm of the season with no loss of performance.I feel bad for Stio that they have created such an incredible all around ski pant that leaves absolutely no room for improvement. I am 6 foot 185 lbs with a 32 inch waist and athletic build, the medium fits perfect. Plenty of room for movement and a thicker layer underneath for those extreme days.

Perfect Pants
Review by Josh

I’m 5’ 10” 205lbs....36” waist; 32” inseam.
The large fit me perfectly
I love these pants. Great material. Very tough. Well made. Great color. Built in knee bends are a nice feature. Very waterproof & breathable. Well thought out features.
A great piece for tromping around in the backcountry.

Need a size between Medium and Large
Review by JP

I bought these for the upcoming 17/18 season and haven't had them out in the snow yet, but the quality looks excellent. I'm 6'0" 198lb and my waist measures 36.5" at the level where I where these pants. I ordered both the medium and large. I kept the mediums and returned the large. The large is giant, especially in the knee area. The ideal size for me would be halfway in between.

Great pants
Review by ChiTown

I am 6'0 / 195lbs and bought a six medium. That would be only complaint the sizing is a little odd. I would have gone with the Large but the Large was huge compared to the Medium. Great pats comfy and the vents are great. Excellent upgrade. Would recommend for sure.

My new go-to gear
Review by Brock

I'm an industry professional so I've been around the block with different uniforms and personal gear. I heard Stio was worth a look and have become a convert. These pants have seen all of the weather Alaska has to offer and I have yet to have a damp undergarment. The fit runs a little bit but if you run with the Stio heaver baselayers you won't notice. The two leg zipper pockets have a tendency to act as a garbage can- one would have been enough. In fact, I kinda question their utility in the first place. Cuff material could also be a bit heavier but not everyone is banging skis against them on a regular basis. I'm looking forward to the day my old Cloudveil jacket wears out so I can upgrade that to a Stio Environ jacket.

Environ Pants - Exceptional Product
Review by asharks

If you're hesitant about the investment, I'm here to encourage your purchase of the Environ pant. Unlike the 45th President of the US, these pants are not fragile, tenuous or delicate. Just the opposite; the Environ pant is for the outdoorsman that has no time for gidgets, gadgets or marketing crap that is layered between. No nonsense, deeply waterproof, pure nasty. (Note: sizing is maybe a tad peculiar - I'm 5'11 190lbs and I'm rolling a Medium. Things are a tad snug after a chili bread bowl and a couple lagers, but it's good motivation...)

Perfect Ski Pant - Really
Review by Vince

My previous ski pants were either not warm enough or too hot because they didn't breath. The Environ ski pant is perfect. Skied Mammoth Mt. lows of 5 degrees and highs of 25 degrees. With a layer of the Basis Powder Dry tights and the Environ ski pant, I was never cold and never over-heated. Thanks Stio. Quality design, zippers and durability.

Perfect
Review by Fish

The Arctic Chill arrived two days after my Environ pants so I decided to take them for a long outdoor skate at -10 with the wind whipping. Bought them to ski, but the skating test on a big open lake showed me how great they would be. Warm, flexible, pockets for my phone, and when I got called in to warm up by the fire, the cooling unzips were put to use. Looked high and low for pants to do this work, and am happy that I found and ordered these. Thanks for making them.

Great Pant, runs large
Review by Jacko

Was looking for a solid ski pant to wear in resort skiing and side country. I am 6 foot one and 170 pounds and was swimming in the large size. The medium size fits well, not tight but looks nice. My wife loves them. They look good with the contrasting heel cuffs and feel very durable. Wore them with one pair of long underwear in 20 degrees skiing and was plenty warm but would want another pair of underwear of really cold. Side vents are a little odd in that there is no mesh behind so if you open them up you are open directly to air. Seem like they'd work. Pockets well positioned and quality zippers. Very waterproof - sat on wet ski lifts one day and was completely dry. Great pant!

Great quality, run a bit big
Review by Scotty B

I was really looking forward to receiving my order, and when I did, I felt the quality was immediately apparent. I used the sizing chart, and it suggested I should be a medium. Granted this is outerwear, but I feel that they run a tad big for what it is worth in case you think you might be between sizes.

Great ski pant
Review by pw

I am usually on the fence with an xl/xxl ski pant and found the xxl to be a perfect fit if I tighten up the adjusters on the waist...not too baggy, not too long, and the thighs are just right. The kick plate material feels super beefy, no concerns about fraying at the ankle or skis tearing through them.

Good fit, high mobility, good windstopper proof, true to fit, overall excellent pant. One wish - suspenders or ability to connect suspenders.

Husband Gift
Review by UT Powder Chaser

I bought these pants in XL for my husband this past Christmas. He is about 6'1" tall and weighs about 225. They are light weight, but warm on those below zero days when the wind is hucking and you are stuck riding the lifts. He teles and wears braces on both knees from previous injuries and the braces fit great underneath the pants and offer plenty of give when turning. Thanks for making a product he loves and bringing hm into the 21st century.

Color is deceiving
Review by Jay

I'll be returning these pants. It's always hard to know the true color of an item when you order something online. I ordered the "Moroccan Blue", and was disappointed with the color. A more accurate description would be TEAL. If you like teal, these are your pants. If you're looking for a more true blue, you won't like these.

Excellent!
Review by troutguide

Absolutely love these pants. Very light weight, but super durable, windproof, and waterproof. The face fabric is quiet, but the pant will stand up against anything in its way.

Fantastic Environ Ski Pant
Review by gpn

Extremely satisfied with purchase. Bomber construction, well fitting and soft but durable hand to the fabric with the right articulation seams, stretch, pocket placement and waterproof/breathability rating to satisfy most conditions/activities. I am 6'3" and 190b with lanky fit build and have a great fit with right length in the medium pant. Love the side vents without mesh to blow it open during strenuous activity or warm days. Overall right blend of style and utility!

runs larger than previous models
Review by nalu50

I have a pair of Environ pants from 2012. Great product. I am 5-9, 165 lbs and the medium size fits great. I ordered a second pair this fall and the new cut, with new fabric is roomier and the legs run longer.

All around best ski pants
Review by T Wynnot6240

I am so glad I purchased a pair of the Environ Pants last fall! I used the pants for all conditions throughout the season. Used with appropriate layers these ski pants are perfect for any ski day! Well worth the $$! I thought the pants were so great that I bought a pair on sale at the end of the spring. I already have 10 ski days with the new pair! Thanks Stio!

Great pants
Review by P2

Great pants. They vent well during high output events, but keep you dry when it's ugly. The fit is great - trim fitting, but with enough room for layering and movement. Pockets are in the right places and seal up well to keep things where they should be. I'm 5'11" and 160lbs and the Med fits me just right.

Best Ski Pants I've Ever Owned
Review by jaaanson

I reviewed these pants earlier, right after I received them but now can update the review after 3 times skiing. They are the best ski pant I have ever owned, and I have tried many pants over the years. They fit well, true to size. The Fallen Rock color is a nice compliment to many jacket colors. The pants are quiet. sleek, have ample pocket space, and I for one prefer the front leg pocket look to side cargo pockets. The scuff guards are very durable. In my earlier review I stated that they seemed spendy, but you can spend much more than this on a pair of ski pants, and it's hard to imagine better quality. Very happy I discovered Stio!

Nice Ski Pants!
Review by pvilleskier

I have been really impressed with these pants so far. They are very well made, with nicely finished seams and sturdy material on the pant cuffs and the inside of the lower legs. The waist adjustment system works really well. The waterproof-breathable material has a nice soft feel to it and seems to breath pretty well. The front hip pockets have a soft lining material that feels nice on your hands, with sturdy zippers. I really like the fit for me is just right - not too baggy, but not tight at all. I am 6'2" with a 34 waist and 34 inseam and the XLs fit great. The pants have articulated knees and just seem to work really well for skiing. I have owned several big name brand gore-tex ski pants models that cost more and I would say these pants compare very favorably. And they are really pretty lightweight - which would make them practical for backcountry skiing use. The only thing I would change about them would be to do away with the front thigh pockets. I would rather have pockets on the sides of the thighs, or no pockets there at all. I have never used the pockets because when you are skiing, that becomes the tightest part of the pants. Overall - these are great pants and a really good value.

Very high quality pant with numerous pockets and heavy duty zippers. Lightweight but good for cold days too. Reinforced cuffs that easily go over ski boots and resist abrasion. A slightly fuller cut for non teenagers. Highly recommended.

Men's Environ
Review by Jeff R.

What an amazing product!

I've owned several different makes and styles of ski pants over the years, never has a design been so spot-on as the Environ.

Bullet-proof construction, zippers and pockets in all the right places (the front cargo pocket fits my AIARE log perfectly).

The gator and boot cuffs can be adjusted in all manners, the side vents open the entire thigh-section, and the Velcro adjustments under the belt loops make the fit snug and secure.

I don’t write many product reviews, the Stio team has earned every bit of this one – thank you!

Review by Paul

Light, quiet and comfortable. I wear them every day and they have worked great on mild and cold days and on big powder days as well as cruising days. Have not skinned in them yet but I think they will be fine. The pockets are well placed and the zippers are excellent. They are expensive but I bought them while they were on sale.
