Where mountain missions meet fickle temperatures that can change in an instant, the Sidecut delivers finely tuned warmth to keep you moving toward your objectives. Built to hold in warmth, allow sweat to escape and shed the elements, the key to its performance is lightweight, innovative 1L Pro fabric construction. The interior features a soft, brushed lining designed in a raised grid pattern that traps heat and allows moisture to evaporate—and is shaped in our signature pinecone. The stretchy, durable softshell exterior is treated with a weather-shedding, PFAS-free DWR finish to repel light precip and breathe while on the move. The fixed, adjustable hood sheds wind and rain and a hem adjust cinches out the elements. Ample zippered hand pockets and an interior zippered chest pocket secure the essentials.
1L Pro fabric features a stretch double weave construction for added durability that naturally repels light rain and delivers warmth with maximum mobility. Made with recycled polyester, 1L Pro has a softshell outer and a fleecy backer.
As caretakers of the mountain life, we recognize our responsibility to support organizations and people who share our vision to drive positive change for people and the planet. We’re proud to partner with some tremendous organizations in their missions to responsibly advance outdoor recreation and protect our wild surroundings.
We are committed to building garments that are durable, timeless and continue to perform season after season. After years of research, testing and product development, in 2024 we completely removed PFAS from all of our newly developed products. We remain committed to growing our Preferred Materials usage, which includes organic cotton, recycled materials and responsibly-sourced down and wool, to 75% by the end of 2025.
Our apparel is built to last. As a part of our efforts to reduce waste and keep more gear in the mountains where it belongs, our home-grown gear renewal program allows previously-used items to be traded in, cleaned, repaired and circulated back into use.
