Great Jacket
Review by Erin

I was looking for a ski jacket that would function well in all conditions and temperatures, and have not been disappointed. I wore it skiing in heavy snow this past weekend, and was thrilled with the waterproofing and helmet-compatible hood. The well-constructed armpit ventilation comes in handy, too. I'm 5'4, 117 and the XS is perfect with room for a couple layers underneath. The fit is super flattering - feminine, but still lets you charge.

great fit but not that warm
Review by Heather H

Love this coat, fits perfect I am 5,3 145 and the med is perfect. Not the warmest coat though, when the report says below 20 temp it needs another thick layer underneath, wind rips right through the zipper area. I usually ski with a thick flannel shirt under it but not on a cold day it needs another base layer. The hood is the best hood I have ever had on a coat, it fits over a helmet and you can actually move around in it, forgot it was even up while skiing, that is key when it's cold.

Best ski jacket on the mountain
Review by Liesl

I recently bought this jacket because I was looking for a down ski jacket that had warmth, water repellency and style. I have skied the last two weeks in BC in snow, bitter cold and wind. This jacket handled it all! It kept me warm, dry and on the slopes. I received numerous compliments and questions about the jacket. I was told it was the best jacket in the mountain. Thanks Stio!
I am 5’6”, 120lbs and small was perfect. I was able to layer with a down sweater on the coldest of days (-15F) and never felt the cold!

Great coat, cool stuff

Most Excellent!
Review by chacha

Love this jacket so much more than I thought I would. Great length. Perfect coziness and warmth for everyday and for skiing those super chilly days. I'm 5'5" 125 lbs and I liked the medium more, but the small was OK also. highly recommend.

My Everyday Go-To
Review by Payson - Staff

I am always cold and was looking for a jacket that does is all. I finally found that in the Durrance which keeps me warm on negative temp days on the hill as well as my commute to the office. It tends to run a little roomier. I am a traditional large, and went with a large in the Durrance but could have gone with the medium.

Game Changer
Review by Madison - Staff

I was always, always cold. Then I bought the Durrance.I wore this for this first time this past weekend skiing @ JHMR. It was cold and windy and snowing and I was the happiest and coziest I've ever been on the lift. And I didn't overheat. I wore it over the Basis Power Dry Hoodie - a perfect layering system.Love the pockets too. I'm 5 ft. 5 in., ~128 lbs. Small fits beautifully.

From the Streets to the Mountain
Review by Liza

This jacket! It is amazing! I've been wearing this jacket around town since I purchased, and once the mountain opens, I see myself snowboarding in it. Perfect jacket to take you from the streets to the mountain! It is super warm and the long backside makes this jacket even cozier, and will help keep my bum warm on the chairlift!

Stay Warm and Dry
Review by MK - Staff

I was originally drawn to this jacket because of the cute, unique quilt pattern, but I soon came to love it for the cozy warmth! The Durrance Jacket blocks pretty much all of the wind and the down insulation keeps you as warm as can be. I love this jacket for cold belays and resort skiing. The fabric feels super durable so I know I'm going to get endless use from the jacket! The length is also super flattering, creating a nice shape with jeans or ski pants.

Winter's Finest
Review by Kelly - Staff

Durrance reminds me of my old favorite, but even better! The quilt pattern is interesting without being too crazy and the fabric is killer. It's soft and filled with down so the entire jacket feels warm without too much weight but burly enough to take out on the mountain and not worry about durability. This is a killer piece for the coldest of winter days and the best stadium jacket out there!
