Visiting a National Park is the experience of a lifetime, and at Stio we’re fortunate to enjoy the snow-capped peaks of the Tetons right in our backyard. No matter whether you visit the parks once in your life or live right on their doorstep, the national parks feed our imaginations and desire for adventure.

The lands within the national park system are some of the most beautiful in the country, and it’s up to all of us to do our part to honor their history and protect them for the benefit of generations to come.

In celebration of the National Park Service’s birthday, we invite you to join us in being responsible stewards and visitors of the national parks.

Responsibly Wild: Etiquette and Respect when exploring in a National Park

Travel Responsibly:

Practice safe and sustainable tourism.

Don't Walk All Over The Wild:

Take only photos, leave only footprints on marked trails. It can take the ecosystem 10 to 30 years to recover from off-trail hiking.

Sleep Under The Stars As Long As You're On A Site:

Stay on designated campsites, douse your campfires and leave no trace.

The Wildlife Were Here First:

Treat them with respect and give them space. Stay 100 yards from bears and wolves and 25 yards from all other wildlife.

Go Wherever The Path Takes You:

Stay on marked bike trails, maintain a safe speed and use extra caution on mixed-use trails.
