Review by Jim B

Typical excellent Stio quality with all the right features. Plenty warm without the bulk. I wear large in everything and the the fit is spot on.

Quality &designed made & functional jacket
Review by Mark v

This jacket has been a “find” well designed/ functional design & features /quality materials except have an internal Napoleon zip pocket ie phone storage added. Used in central NY cold wet damp early winter time. The jacket equaled/outperformed your current down sweater jackets. Performed well it had me forget my down sweater designed jacket. Good option if your budget is tight for more than 1 jacket for solo or mid wt under layer winter activity with a shell.

Excellent
Review by Mark

Just received this Jacket in size Large. I'm a somewhat portly guy in my mid-60s and buy that size (regular fit) from Stio's competitor that begins with a P. It was too big for me even when layered over a heavy fleece. I gave it too my son who has a bulked up upper body and it fit well (he's usually a XL). The product is very well made and will serve him well in his NYC environment.

Top Notch
Review by Dave

I've had my Lofted Sky Insulated jacket for a week. Our Colorado spring weather has been a mix of rain and snow with temps from the hi 20's to the lo 40's. The jacket is top notch. I've received complements and comments every day in what is otherwise Patagonia, North Face territory. I'm a borderline Medium/Large guy. I ordered the Medium. The sleeve length is perfect and the body fit is slightly but comfortably fitted with room for a sweater or pullover underneath.

Great coat. Lightweight, great fit, warm.
Review by Kyle

Cool design, like the horizontal zippers on chest pockets, velcro cuffs. Works on its own or great as a layer. Would recommend to a friend.

My New Favorite
Review by #snowbird

I've had the luxury of spending my first week in my Lofted Sky jacket and I couldn't be any happier. This Jacket is equally at home in the midst of a storm on the slopes or in the city. I love it ! Chest Pockets rule!

Great Product (with one flaw)
Review by Steinke Basin

Great jacket. Versatile. I've now bought two of these jackets and was hoping that Stio would address the one problem I had with the first one -- and that is my beard shreds the collar a bit. Needs a tougher material there.

Great jacket but runs large
Review by skiman

Great light insulating jacket with great styling. Only drawback is the sizing. It runs a size large. I'm 5'9 and 150 lbs and got the small and felt that it was too boxy on me. Wish it was a little more fitted. Ended up returning it but still a fan of Stio's products.

Great jacket
Review by Andy

I am really happy with this jacket. The Moroccan Blue is a super pretty color and the construction is top notch. I am 6'2" and weigh about 190 lbs and the large fit perfectly. I wear a 42L jacket size and the sleeves were long enough. Warmth is great but I live in Northern CA so we're talking about generally > 40 degrees F.

Love the jacket
Review by Panda

My first Stio garment. Functionally, it is exactly what I was looking for. Synthetic fill jacket for the cold days that will work with the rest of my outdoor clothing for walks to work and look stylish. I love the inner pockets - 1 one zippered one and the other stretchy 'quickdraw' style. The outside pockets are large enough to comfortably warm my hands and the top zippered pockets have enough volume for just about anything.

It slides on and off easily and the fuzzy fleece is comfortable on my chin when the jacket zips all the way up.

I'm on the East Coast; the jacket has a touch of 'western flair' that makes it interesting to me. At first I wasn't sure about the thickness of the cuffs but I get compliments from my wife that it makes the jacket look great. So, it's a keeper (the jacket[and my wife without saying]) ! Thanks

Hip Jacket
Review by Mile High

Great compromise between being too "Mountain-Y" and too "City". Very smart and up-to-date look-no puffy Michelin Man look. I had to go down a size to medium, as it is more of a "regular" cut in the chest/waist, and I'm 6', 185 and in good shape. Not heavy enough for 0 degrees, but perfect for a sunny winter day in CO.

meh
Review by good eyes

looked great online. liked square waffle, simple lines, and zippers looked silver metal to give this soft jacket some rugged urban edge. turns out zippers are gray plastic. and cut is too boxy, especially around shoulders. for a slender guy not a good fit. what looked like a home run online turned out to be a foul ball in person. oh well.

Phenomenal

Great versatile jacket with western style. Sauntered around Whistler BC all last week and the jacket was amazing. Plenty warm with just the right pockets. Another great product from Stio:)

This is an extraordinary jacket - super warm, lightweight and very well constructed. As a NSP member, I see a lot of different winter products. This is absolutely at the top of the list.

Rockin Jacket
Review by Howardreg

Love this jacket. Got the Black in a Medium which fits perfect to size. The jacket itself is very well built. Not to bulky and looks awesome. I have had and tried about all other similar brands in this style and nothing comes close to STIO's version. This is a must have jacket to add to your line up.

Excellent coat for Michigan winter weather
Review by Whitey

The coat is very comfortable and is an excellent fit allowing room for under layers. I am into outdoor photography so the numerous zippered pockets are great for carrying lenses, filters, etc. The coat is ideal for winter weather in the -10 to +40 F range. The quality is good for a coat in this price range. I would definitely recommend this coat to active outdoors people.

Outstanding value

I have previously purchased from Stio and like their design and quality. Wanted a jacket that I could wear in wet conditions and offered warmth.

Poor cut for an athlete
Review by SLC

Was hoping Stio would cater to the outdoor active crowd. Unfortunately, this jacket is cut for the average american with an ever expanding waistline. As such, way too big around the middle. I really hope Stio changes to more of an athletic cut in the future.

Fabulous Jacket!
Review by Cupcake

I bought this jacket for my husband and he loves it! He typically wears a Large/40R and the large is a great fit. It is perfect for city living but will also work in the country and on the slopes. The black is sharp and he loves the cut, the style and the weight. Five stars all around for this jacket!

It's the little things
Review by Greg S

In this age of super tech fabrics and insulation, it's the little things that separate good from great...and this is a great jacket. From the wide adjustable cuffs that prevent slouch sleeves to the easy-to-slip-my-iPhone-into inner pouch, this jacket hits on all cylinders

A Great Multi-Season Jacket
Review by Matt Stirn

I moved back to Jackson a month ago (early November) and in that time I have seen cool/windy fall days, freezing rain, and -20 degree temps. This jacket performed fantastically in every condition and was light enough to stuff into my messenger bag. The jacket also performed well when I was caught unexpectedly in the rain. It's been a great layer for the fall and winter and I can't wait to bring it into the backcountry next summer.

Medium fits like a champ. Weight is light. Velcro on cuffs a nice touch for tight fit.

Great all around Jacket
Review by Bomber

The Lofty Sky is a one-stop-shop jacket. It's great for activities and it's professional enough for work, or an evening out in the sub-zero temps. It's as warm as my old 'puffy' that will definitely be collecting more dust this winter.

Excellent
Review by John

I bought this jacket a week ago and I can tell it will be my go to for many winters to come. It's perfect for around town even in the cold and also has Primaloft, so it's well suited for intense activity in the mountains under a shell. The quality is what you'd expect from Arc'teryx or Patagonia-- it's light, has nice materials, zippers, seams, and well thought out pockets including comfortable hand-warmer front pockets. You can't go wrong with either color.
