Why We Built It

Built with Italian Pontetorto® TecnoWool, a bonded wool/microfleece technology, this versatile jacket is as good-looking as it is protective. A wind resistant membrane and DWR-treated wool exterior make short work of wind, snow and light rain. The interior is no less cool with a microfleece that offers warmth and comfort.

Great Look, but beware of size
Review by Barrett

First off, this is a great looking jacket. Its a great weight for "winters" in the Bay Area. That being said, the sizing is a tad off. I have been a size large for my entire life. I am 6'1, 190lbs and this coat fits big in the sleeves, shoulders, everywhere. Its a bit of a surprise since this is supposedly a trimmer cut. Its not. Sadly, they sold out of the mediums so I can not try the smaller size. My advice is if you are unsure, order both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit since most items when they go on sale sell out FAST.

generally positive, but...
Review by Mike R.

I like the jacket. It's windproof and it's warm. It's versatile too. It's dressy enough to look ok with dress pants and a button down, but it doesn't look out of place with jeans either. I have also worn it bike commuting, as it has a relatively trim cut. And maybe that's part of my problem with it. I was probably between sizes and I went with the smaller size, so it's a smidge tight in the shoulders. I think the more significant problem though is the fleece lining. That lining is very "sticky" so it grabs at my shirt sleeves. As a result, I feel like my range of motion is quite restricted, and I'm constantly reaching a couple of fingers up the sleeve of the opposite arm to tug my shirt sleeve back down. I think this product would be significantly improved if the sleeves were lined with a slick material, while the body retained the fleece lining for warmth. Arms don't typically get cold. Trunks do.
