Combining the ease of a hoodie with the performance of a tech shirt, the Vescent is designed to let cool breezes in, let heat escape and keep you covered from sunup to sundown.

This breathable, full-coverage sun hoodie means you don’t have to choose between sun protection and staying cool. Durable and lightweight Dot Air® fabric provides powerful UPF 40+ sun protection. Its unique structure allows breezes in and heat to escape through small ventilating holes. It packs down small when you need it to, and the spacious hood with a snap closure seals out powerful high-elevation rays. The zippered chest pocket with a stitched sunglass stash opening keeps essentials accessible.

We are committed to building garments that are durable, timeless and continue to perform season after season. After years of research, testing and product development, in 2024 we completely removed PFAS from all of our newly developed products. We remain committed to growing our Preferred Materials usage, which includes organic cotton, recycled materials and responsibly-sourced down and wool, to 75% by the end of 2025.

Our apparel is built to last. As a part of our efforts to reduce waste and keep more gear in the mountains where it belongs, our home-grown gear renewal program allows previously-used items to be traded in, cleaned, repaired and circulated back into use.
