Which of Stio's values personally align to you?

Balance. I believe the quest for balance is essential on every level. It allows me to sustain my passions, in a physical and mental sense, and to thrive with the changing seasons. It's also critical in terms of preserving our environment and cohabitating with each other. We must learn how to enjoy the world around us while also protecting it, and we must celebrate our individuality while also emphasizing collaboration.

How do you create balance in your daily life?

For me, balance is about seeking perspective in my daily life. That may mean finding time for a yoga class during a busy work day, taking a lunch hike with my dog, or sitting down to paint to allow for a moment of quiet appreciation for the landscape around me. Balance is about creating space to process and appreciate amidst the big goals and adventures.

What is a bucket list activity you have yet to do or a place that you have yet to go?

I have yet to plan and execute an international ski touring trip. I would like to spend some time in the Alps, but I also dream of going somewhere like Russia someday!

What is your go-to workout music?

I'm a hip-hop fan! Def Jam Hip Hop Anthems on Spotify is a fave right now.

What is a piece of advice you would give to someone who wants to pursue a life of mountain sports and adventures?

Do not undervalue the microadventures! Sometimes the quick lunch hike, the one night bikepacking trip or the afterwork skin provide the space to keep us balanced, motivated and dreaming of the bigger missions.
